Today, after church, I stopped at a local grocery store and donated $100 for families in need.
Ten families will each receive 25lbs of groceries. I am now through with my Christmas shopping.
Wishing I could have done more!
You're all right Dennis, no matter what they say!
A very humane gesture at this time of year , Deep respect to you THW

Came back to camp a little while ago due to excessive amounts of rain. As i am on nightshift, i have to be extremely quiet, so the neighbours on dayshift don't wake up.
Providing it doesn't rain too much more, i should be flying home on thursday for a week's R&R.

Can't hardly wait as i'll get to see my grandson.

I am going to Hastings shortly and buses are running today. Mom and Dad are going to Bexhill for our weekly shopping. More snow is expected from 18:00 tonight, if they have got it right. We did not get anything at all last night.

I'll send ours over to you Carl, it's been steadily snowing here all morning, although looking out the window it looks as if it may have stopped, the sky looks full of it though and the temperature is only 29°F so it will be treacherous out under foot.
