I thought I was done with my Christmas shopping, but now I'm rushing out to get a few extra little Christmas gifts for unexpected visitors. Wouldn't you think I'd have learned to do this EVERY year, after all these years of miscellaneous people unexpectedly popping in to visit with a little something in their hands!

We have a bit of snow on the ground, but it's not thick and white like Christmas card snow --- the forecast is for snow "showers" today and tomorrow -- but snow showers don't usually stick, and anyway, so far I don't even see any flakes coming down.
The flakes will be in the stores!

That is quite funny about the snow flakes being the stores

I saw this old MG Midget earlier. Also I am now using Opera 11.

It's 5 or 6 hours since I posted that, and yes Randy, the flakes were definitely in the stores --- the frantic, harried, rushed, crazed, but very polite (after all, it's Christmas!) flakes.

Merry christmas to all of you and stay safe. It's 8am here and I'm getting ready for work. Should be fun though. I'm cooking dinner for 14 people with schizophrenia. There will be crackers and presents. Bit like a large family christmas really, except none of my family believe they are the heir to the the Belgian throne
