Pebbly so sorry about that tooth ache.. have you taken an Ibuprofen cap or pill yet .. that's for pain ?? I hope you can get relief from the awful pain. Ouchie
Thank you LPt , I'm taking Neurofen it's one of the many trade names of Ibuprofen ( which incidently was developed 6 miles from where I live ) Just waiting now to take my next dose
Have you tried holding your hand, the nearest one on the side of the pain, up in the air, making sure that it is above the pain, and keep wiggling the fingers for a few minutes.
This may be counter productive if standing at the bus stop

Have you tried wrapping an ice block in a tea towel and holding it on your face over the affected area?
I've tried that Dwarf and a heatpad,I'm now beginning to think it may be an abcess as my face as now begun to swell up (was'nt a pretty sight before but now looks silly )

A cold ice block works for me, although just because it does for me it doesn't necessarily mean that it will work for everyone.

Thats why I think I may have an abcess, In the past an ice pack worked exceptionally well ,but today it made the pain worse, the heatpad seems to be doing best at the moment

Ty ty.. I may have to take one of you up on your offer... burrrr .. we'll be in the teens or
below at night.. then in the low to upper 20s in daytime.. so if we get anything .. it will
hang around a while. I don't mind some snow... jut not the ice.. that pops the tree limbs
then the power lines....means no power for days or weeks... I'm totally electric.. not even a gas line to my home..right now that seems to have been a very bad choice.
I'll be okay.. I made a few things today just in case.. I'll keep checking in as long as possible.. so if you don't hear from me.. you'll know I'm out of power.
    Enjoy your weekend.
A Guy I've never seen your beautiful state.. California seems the place to be now...
if you see a wandering, bundled up female near your house it may just be me.. .lol
M'Lady, you need to invest in a generator - something that we here in Florida are well acquainted with!

Pebbly, I hope you can get some relief quickly. Toothaches are some of the worst things to deal with.

    Pebbly,
At the local drug store or grocery story the have something for babies when teething called Numbzit or see if the carry an oral xylocaine paste. This will numb the area till you get to the dentist.
Trust me on this one as is worked on Hoppy's rhoids when he was straining to get to his Gold Badge....
