Today I am finally feeling myself again enough to post here again.

Around Christmas my long term health condition took a turn for the worst and I have been a little too ill to post much other than keeping in touch with the other mods and admins.

I am glad to say that it appears that the latest change to my meds (including a dose comprising 8 steroid tablets at once ), appears to be working and the COPD Exacerbation seems to be under control.

Sorry that I have not let people know where I've been and a public thank you to BooBah for reminding me, indirectly, of my oversight, but I should now be back to normal once I have caught up with missed sleep

PS. It's great to be home
Nigel, I am sure sorry to hear you have been down with the health problem. It is surely good to see you back and posting. Here's hoping for a good recovery.

    Welcome back Nigel.

    FYI
No kidney stone or UTI. Pleural effusion definitely- fluid between lung and pleural sack/ribs- and a mass unknown on ultrasound- might just be part of the fluid build up around the lung. Ultrasound isn't a definite on such things. The angle of the probe from below the rib cage looking back up towards your neck and the mass is up around my shoulder blade/scapula- which is where the pain is. You can't ultrasound through the ribs. So you have to go below and look up. Definitely fluid just hoping it isn't blood.
So they sent me over for a chest and abdomen Cat Scan.
No results yet. Within the hour if Doc got them back or in the morning.
    Mike

    Howdy Jfar!!

    Truce until further notice.
    Mike
Thanks for the update, Mike. Still hoping for a speedy recovery for you.

Hoppy .. wow you kept getting worse before you got any better.. Try your best to not need any more new parts.. you'll be a walking Used parts guy for sure.
Prayers to get back to normal quickly.. I know the lung thing must be very painful.
