Had a really nice evening with my beloved, wonderful Angie in a nice gourmet restaurant and later in a swing club (notice: swing as in swing music, not as in swingers ). I really enjoy time with her, I also have to admit I feel quite proud, strangely good noticing other guys looking at her when we go out, knowing this beautiful woman is my sweetheart and I'm hers.

A small nightcap together back home, some cuddling , then trying to sleep but my insomnia makes it quite impossible so I let Angie to sleep in peace, me spending some time online. Had a nice surprise waiting, a dear old friend I have greatly missed but had no contact in at least 7 or 8 months sent me an email, which made me laugh aloud.

Earlier today met my neurologist regarding my driver's license. He wants to make some more tests next week before letting authorities to know if I am fit to drive again or not, so I'm a bit disappointed. I was too sure I could pick the license from police already late afternoon, had planned taking Angie to a surprise shopping day trip to Berlin tomorrow, just to enjoy driving after this longer break. It's 200 kilometers one way (about 130 miles), almost whole way on A9 autobahn which mostly has no speed limits between Leipzig and Berlin so it had been a nice and fast trip. Maybe next week.

    Dinesh,
That's excellent news! Now you both can save some money for the big wedding!
Hoppy and I are going to attend this big gala event. Have to take turns ridding Topper to get there.
Carl,Mae, and LPt are riding their motorcycles so make sure there is plenty of food and Hay for all of us.....Can't wait!
I am already working on paddle wheels to sail the ocean on the bikes.

Kari, I'm glad you had a great evening with Angie. That is really good. I am sorry to hear you did not get your license. I just went through that with my dad. It was the doctor making sure before he gave the OK to drive. He was protecting himself, which I fully understand.

Hard Luck Kari. A bit of bad, but don't be that despondent, I am sure thinks will get better in the near future for you and your beautiful Angie.

We're just happy that it is even a possibility you could drive soon. We weren't sure we'd even ever see you again at one point. A Guy

Hi Dennis, yes there would be enough food in the marriage hall. However, Indian food is generally spicy so I hope we don't find you running for water everytime you eat.

@Kari: Glad to hear about your wonderful eve with your beautiful wife. Its nice to be with the loved ones always... I can't believe I'll be married in just next 3 months...

BTW, I'm sitting in the waiting room, she is waiting in the queue for her turn. The clinic is very sophisticated and well maintained. I'll have to sit here for the next 2hrs. This would be the most boring thing I've ever done on a Saturday...I slept for only 1 hour and I'm dozing off every minute. This clinic is around 25kms from our home so i'll have to open my eyes wide open while going back home on the bike.

P.S.: There is a queue for every damn thing in my country.

:) Yes it sux. Of course I realize it might be just me, or rather lack of experience, but my Windows and Linus rigs see and find each other every time they are booted, but with MacBook, I just cross my fingers when booting. Sometimes it's an equal member of home network, sometimes not.

Thanks geeks for all the nice words.

Kari , shame you couldn't get your license sorted as soon as you wished , it will come, i think you are probably very impatient to get things back to normality 100%, and understandably so.

Dinesh, i love spicy food, in fact i am just about to start cooking a curry in a few mins, i would prefer to make a phaal (toilet roll in the fridge! ) but the kids wont eat it , as it is they have to mix natural yoghurt in to cool it slightly and thats only a madras .
bummer, just noticed i have no fresh cream.

Here you are Kari, you told me before that you love this kind of music. This should give you something to do at night time when you can't sleep. You can learn the words.
