I just had my driving lesson which went OK. Also that cyclone is in Australia about now, according to what they said on my radio this morning. I do not think that anyone likes power cuts/outages.

Starting to dig out. My deck has 3 steps going down. The snow is even with the deck, so just to get out, I had to jump down into it and start digging.....waist high. Roughly 7ft tall drifts around my house, ahhhh....what fun. The neighbors back door was drifted half way up, couldn't get out.

I just spent an hour outside with the snowblower....it appears my toes are all still attached, although I wouldn't have noticed over the last 20 minutes I was out there. I guess next year I'll have to buy new boots, that have room for extra socks!

    Noob,
If you would wear shoes and not thongs your feet wouldn't be so cold.
They do have battery operated socks and gloves to keep you warm!

I don't know about you, but I don't wear thongs.....I don't think a thong would be very flattering on me!

    Noob,
thong....3. A sandal held on the foot by a strip that fits between the first and second toes and is connected to a strap usually passing over the top or around the sides of the foot.
I guess you would know them by the name of "flip flop!"
