Got a call from my neurologist first thing this morning, just after 8 AM. He wants to do some new tests, once again. He has a theory that links my Ménière's disease and insomnia together, and this "link" then could be the cause for the problems with blood circulation, which then caused the strokes and still makes the situation bad enough so that I need blood thinners, which seem not to help me.

So, I have absolutely not a clue what it means but he wants to test me for (and possibly exclude) "hyperthyroidism and neurological disorders". I gave my permission to him to book me in the clinic when possible, so in the very near future I need to leave you geeks for a few days.

I have withdrawal symptoms already. Two three days without SF? Does anyone have any experience, how do you survive without forums?

Mickey, last time there I noticed I only came in to German sites using their WiFi, so I used my providers free VPN with DE domain. Or it's not free, rather included in my monthly bill. I can also use Nokia phone as modem, so that's not a problem. Problem is Angie who does not want me to take a computer with me.

Dinesh, I've heard you can survive without forums but I have actually never known someone who has tried

Kari. I was offline for a month during refurbishments at my home early last year. It's hard to think of now. I suspect that I'm repressing the memory of it.
I know I did find myself doing some weird stuff, reading from paper!, listening to the radio! watching complete nonsense on TV!
I won't kid you it's easy but it's doable. Good luck mate:)
