    i completely forgot it was pancake tuesday despite all the signs in the supermarket, my lad after tea is finished and the chores done says are we having pancakes ,doh! we would have if he mentioned it when he came home .

    Nice to see spring is here! Went to have a coffee with a friend of mine, was nice to sit outside the café. A bit cold still, 8°C after 7 PM (46.4°F), but we decided to show the café owner it was a right decision to put tables back in patio earlier today. We two smokers are delighted the next half a year it's OK to smoke with your coffee.

    I have to confess I didn't do any this year, although I've been known to make them any day not just Shrove Tuesday Plus because hubby is diabetic and over weight have to watch his diet

    Kari can only have Sugar Free syrup or topping. He is in training for a wedding.
