    Problem with Friendship Request

Hello and Happy Holidays to everyone around the world. Well I'll be celebrating Xmas in my cel...I mean at home again this year. Well, I've got this one problem, OK I've got more than one but I'm hoping ya'll can help me with this one. One of the members made a friendship request of me (it's true!) but I just don't remember seeing the notification and I'm on the site everyday. Now when I go to "User CP" and then "Friends and Contacts" I see this persons avatar and the notation says "Friendship Requested" and the box beside this has a check mark but it's grayed out.

So then, the aliens took me to, sorry, wrong story. But then I type this persons name in the box to add Contacts or Friends and have clicked both Contact and then Friend, both without any change in the box with this persons avatar. The Friendship Requested box is still grayed out. It would seem that this member has made the request but I can't figure out how to fix this. Would anyone have any suggestions? (I'll give you that one)

Hi! Alfred, many happy returns of the season to you also!

It does seem a little confusing. Usually I have to remember to just click anywhere in the grayed-out area of the request to activate it, then save changes.

Make sure you put a check mark by their name, then click save changes.

It does looked greyed out. I assume you have tried clicking it! Sorry, somebody somewhere has done everything everywhere, and we have to check!

Thank You both, and I tried both but without any luck. Still the same.

Edit: Yes I did just try clicking it with no change and the box is grayed out. Thanks

Hi! sygnus, thanks for the clarification.

My request are usually checked, but after I click on the grayed area to activate I do make sure the name is checked, then save.

    Friends and Contacts

To accept a friend, go to your 'Contacts and Friends' page. At the bottom of the page you will see a list of pending requests. Check the box for the requests you wish to accept then check the 'Accept' button and save the changes. If you do not wish to be friends then select 'Reject' instead.
If that isn't working you may have to contact an Admin. Also, out of curiousity, is the member still active?
