    I tried myself to see it, and like bot said, Nothing but cloud. All the city lights reflecting off the clouds didn't even give the illusion of complete darkness, so disappointed. You'd think it being a desert and all (where I live), the chances of this falling right on a 3 day raining streak (Complete with flash flood warnings, a first timer for me) should have made it a perfect night. Oh well, have the once in a life time chance to jump in a river and be carried away :)

    Its crystal clear in The Southern Hinterlands and the view is fantastic ... now that Ive seen it, I can go back to bed...

    This is major BS!
    I stayed with my friend talking on the computer.
    We got so carried away we missed it!

    So I think the mountains completely blocked the moon from sight!

    Looked like that about 1.5 hrs ago but now it is bright and looks like someone took a bite out of the bottom.
