I got a £50 Debenham's voucher off my boss. They have outlets for Ted Baker, Jasper Conran, Duffer of St George , Levi's and several other well known labels.
I went in there today and everything is very similar. If I want a waterproof jacket it's got to be either semi military, with cargo pockets and epaulettes or like a biker oilskin with a neck "belt".
All the jumpers are either furry cardigans or high neck zip. All the jeans seemed in various stages of pre-distressed, with that horrible fake cracked look fanning out from the crotch area and on the upper leg. The alternative to them was equally distressed cargo pants.
All pretty boring and shows we're all fashion victims in a sense. You can only wear what's there in the shop.
