Men's casual shoes and boots seem to have thoroughly embraced trainer technology. The insoles are similarly engineered. I think men's shoes have never been more comfortable.
I'm currently wearing a pair of black suede desert boots made by Crocs. They have an insole that is just like their plastic sandals, with holes in it.
Amazingly comfortable and not sweaty at all.
I really noticed the other day when I wore some more formal shoes for an event. My feet were really aching by the end of the day.
I like women's shoes but I'm glad I don't have to wear them. High heels look great but they must be uncomfortable.
Another area of debate is around sandals. There's the whole socks or not debate but also closed toe or open toe.
Personally I have hideous toes so I go for a closed toe lattice sandal. My present ones are a bit centurion but with a trainer type sole. Great for urban use and look good with jeans or light linen trouser.
I reckon beautiful toes are few and far between and that open toed men's sandals are rarely pleasant in an urban setting. The same is true of women's peep toe shoes.
Generally I feel similarly about shoes as I do about jeans. They've got feel nice physically.
I'm certainly not. Sorry BM but this guy looks like a 19 year old nobhead with an old ladies shopping bag.
I dunno where you live but round here this young man would be attacked by drunks envious of his youthful elan
That's what you get if you wash the pants too hot.
I'm known to wear daring clothes at times but with those pants I wouldn't be caught dead.
And what's with the shopping bag. Aren't you afraid the next Bobby picks you up while on the lookout for a grandma missing her groceries ?
The whole guy makes me want to scream "Man, you're trying too hard"
If that's the new fashion then I readily admit that I have no sense for fashion whatsoever.
What we call DB's (Desert Boots). The one and only.
Desert Boots (DBs) Ripple SolesDesert Boots and Ripple sole boots by Rossi Boots were born in 1950 to a shoe making tradition and an unmistakable supply of Aussie know how.
The Rossi Boots Ripples & DBs are made using the traditional stitchdown method as passed down from craftsman to apprentice where the upper and throughsoles are stitched to create the boot. Australian made Desert boots include the DBs and Ripple sole range.
