    Didn't think Zwarte Piet stole the presents, but had a bag with edible goodies, like lollies and pepernoten.

    In Italy it was La Befana that came according to what my parents told me growing up, she was an old witch who gave out gifts on the Eve of Epiphany (Jan 5th) it was her penance for having once been mean.
