If you ask the British, they still call us the Colonies.

Baroness, I'm not sure I remember it right but wasn't your original user name Baron? I think I can remember wondering, a post or two were between the lines telling something that a masculine user name denied...

I didn't know this before your trip to my little but beloved Finland. I was first wondering what a coincidence it is, two members of ours, from a same place or at least close to each other, going to this small country at the same time.

Had to check some recent posts of yours then before I understood. BTW, talking about real life, I really love your real name...

(This from my Angie, who sits drinking her tea here next to me, doing what she does increasingly often: watching me to surf SF, and when she sees a nice avatar or sig, or post from a member she already knows because of these "joint SF sessions" of ours, asking me to translate to German.)

Kari

We were wondering how long it would take people to realise although I think John would have preferred me to keep my avatar namesake! He prefers me in the back ground making tea! Btw you're beloved Finland is cold but fabulous!

Thank you Kari! You have good taste, it's a shame you're wife cannot interact with us as well although you must have lots of fun describing our antics to her! LOL! We are a funny bunch!

My dear Angie is member, too, but she has never posted and not logged in for instance since last June. Her problem is the language, she can absolutely no English, so when she wants to read the SF, we'll do it together and I'll translate to her. BTW, this way it's really fun, together with her. I enjoy translating and telling to her about my friends here. She "knows" Ken and Tom and Jim and Dennis and Dinesh and many more quite well already.

Personally, ATM I have met four other members in real life, and am already planning to travel to India to attend Dinesh' wedding (maybe) later this year
