And that is why people bought the T-Mobile G1! HTC was really pushing it by not putting a headphone jack in it.

BTW that whole list I pooped out: camera/video recorder, gps, mobile internet device, cell phone, pda, voice recorder, and mp3 player is actually what I have to carry on me almost every day of the week along with a laptop and a ti-89 titanium calculator.

My pants pockets aren't that big. :)

So my next phone will almost definitely be an iPhone, just because it can reduce these 9 devices to 2 - a notebook and an iPhone.

(And there are ways to hack a bluetooth keyboard to work with the iPhone, so maybe even kill the notebook.)

No, I won't get a Zune. Convergence and technology advances make dedicated devices such as the Zune useless for many people.

I will be buying a Zune because I would prefer to save battery life on my phone.

Agreed the only way to talk about why you would get a Zune is to compare it to the other devices that are out there competing with it.
I've already stated Im on the fence about one. All this other talk helps convince someone if the Zune is what they are looking for.
