    64 bit migration from 32 bit


    is 32 bit to 64 bit migration slower than the 16 bit to 32 bit migration?????????????

    i think its becuase of 2 reasons

    1) maybe because today installed base of win xp system is much bigger than the installed base of windows 3.1

    2) 32 bit win xp is much more advanced than 16 bit win3.1 thus minimizing the need to migrate to 64 bit win 7 for average user

    No, almost 50% of all Win7 users are using x64, 32-bit OSes are being abandoned
    64-bit is more suitable for high end users such as gamers
