Thanks, Joan.
By the sound of it you are going from the frying pan into the fire.
Not long ago, it was snow & freezing temps. Not having much of a win.

Bundaberg got hammered too. A lot of the telecommunication networks were affected in that area. Although I'm sure your friend is okay.

Thoughts and prayers go out to all that have suffered. I have been watching footage and it is devastating.

Mother Nature can be one cruel mistress.

I hope you are both right. Maybe it is a telecommunication failure. I will try again in a few days.

There hasn't been any reported deaths from Bundaberg, so they'll be fine on that front.

Accessing a working computer is a whole different kettle of fish.

At worst, their house probably went under - otherwise, they'll be in the pockets of land that were cut off.

It's been hard to keep track of which areas where inundated and those that were merely isolated.

Just reading the online news, and you're right.
Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania and WA (Carnarvon).
Not sure about South Aus, or the 2 Territories.

Bit of flooding in the far north east of SA - nothing too serious.

What's happened to my Australian TV shows?
There are three shows from Australia that I like to watch via the internet, but now only one remains. My favorite, Spicks and Specks, has ended its run. Although the last series resembled a chat show more than a quiz, it was still a lot of fun. Couldn't wait each week to see who would be...
