I changed the cache settings earlier, this could be a side effect - I'll look into it now.

Yes, now both the gadget and home page are showing the right figures.

It was just a funny situation a moment ago: I'm working from home today, as well as was yesterday (installing Seven to household computers). My neighbor came over for a coffee, I wanted to show that enormous increase we had yesterday. I'm pointing the screen and telling "Look, yesterday evening over 9K users online at the same time, thousands more than the previous record". He looks at me and says "What do you mean? It's not 6K".

Nice he finally believed me, sitting there now and grinning when I type this post. We are shortly going over to his place to upgrade their HTPC to Windows Home Server.

    Kari,

Don't forget to get the pricing structure correct for the thank you - WHS deserves at least a bottle of a good malt

Wrong thread to ask but what do you think about WHS? I mean, two weeks ago I put the Launch Party Ultimate x64 to our HTPC. Would WHS be better, thinking that we have four other computers in our household? Automated network backups and so on?

P.S. I have to start a slow stop. Wife is back from holidays late Sunday. Anyway, my neighbor is a typical German, he prefers Jägermeister and beer.

If you use your HTPC as a HTPC then stick to ultimate, WHS is good for backups and as a shared drive etc but thats about it.

First chance I've had to visit today and I see we're nearly at that 10 K mark with 9488 being online about 18 hours ago.

I'm still trying to fine tune, I've managed to do a WET transfer but still have my newsgroups to set up plus find out how to get the Storage Folder showing in Windows Live Mail, I'd probably have the rest of my messages come through then that I have stored in their own folders.

Oh and yes I've got my spell check installed along with Office 2007
