quite possible. if ms would release something to actually wreck havoc on peoples computers maybe we would have more people sign up to ask for help. i know it's bad for business for them to do that but it wouldn't be the first time....

Be careful what you wish for! I'm sure we will have an influx in a few days when the RC's start to expire

       Warning
Starting on March 1, 2010 Windows 7 RC will begin shutting down every two hours. Your work will not be saved during the shutdown.

Just Upgraded my last x86 computer from the RC Build to the Retail version with my TechNet subscription download.

Made sure I did a Windows Easy Transfer for a backup first. The Upgrade went smooth, No problems, everything worked as in previous version.

So now I won't have the ShutDown message on March 1st

But, yes I think there will be a great Inflow of new users that do have problems over the next week.

So, Gurus be ready and prepared with all those bookmarked links

I do have one rc install left on a seldom used pc. It is dual boot with xp installed first. Just want to see first hand what happens. I do think we will have a record setting day when it happens!
