    Sometimes I find "American English" and "British English" confusing. Evidently "sleeping" is spelled and pronounced "slacking" across the pond?

    Not really Robert, slacking means you're not putting in the effort or you're not really trying, whereas sleeping means just that, you're asleep

    Not really Robert, slacking means you're not putting in the effort or you're not really trying, whereas sleeping means just that, you're asleep
    Thank you Joan ... now that makes sense. When the event occurred, I was definitely sleeping NOT slacking.
