That's what I was thinking, 14 seems very young to be allowed to drive.

It's a good thing I wasn't allowed to drive at that age....I would have become distracted by girls on the sidewalk and hit another car within the first week!

Here in Iowa you can get a Learner's Permit at 14

I drove over 2,000,000 Safe Consecutive miles just in a 18 Wheeler!
Probably the same in my 4 wheeler to, I didn't keep count.

Driving now a days is a PITA! Too many vehicles on the road and drivers not paying attention to their driving. Thank God I'm Retired from driving.
