Getting old is a two-sided coin. On one side, the body suffers. On the other, the spirit grows. As for the rim of the coin, it is a question mark regarding the mind...it can spin in either direction.

22 last Monday. There's something strange and melancholy about turning 22. After all the excitement and fanfare of 21, it seems like a bit of a let-down.

LOL. Welcome to 'getting old' son!

By the time you hit 55 a birthday holds as much excitement as a trip to the dentist!
And as you can see from TVeblen avatar\photo he is too old!!
But as you can see - I still have all my teeth!

Your responses/advice are of a more mature person.

26 going on 37 in maturity on this forum and your web site.
    That is a good thing.
When you post people read....and learn.

Your responsibilities have aged you well in life and become an asset. Bravo!

I wish I could say the same, but then I have a very sweet tooth, that can't be pulled.

I agree, Mike....the Captain does sound much wiser than the typical 26-year-old. I was an idiot at 26, and I'm still trying to get beyond that stage, all these years later.
