What favorite food makes you happy?

Don't list several, just the one perfect food (or ingredient such as chocolate)

Jacee,
Are you talking about Peanut butter cups! Yummmmmmy!

Dear Jacee,
I live and work as a consultant physician in the Indian east coastal city named,NELLORE! Nel--means good to execellent and oore---town or city. It is/was famed for it's fine quality rice!

People in South India hate to have food served cold, so my fav.dish is a piping hot, red chilli and Ghee added Dosa (a dish which originated in South India). As it hits the pit of the stomach, the spicy hot dosa sends up searing signals to the frontal lobe of the brain (Right side, mind you) asking for one more!
Nice thread!

regards,
DR.Sreedhav

PS: Folks in India, generally avoid talking while having their food, as it diverts the mind from enjoying the dishes! Talking while eating is like blasting the horn in the US of A---->bad manners!

Sreedhav,
May I ask you how your stomach handles hot and spicy food?
I would love to try it but my stomach couldn't handle it. I guess I am a Tender Tummy guy!

A perfectly cooked medium rare steak. Generally new york strip but I'll take rib-eye too.

The potato it generally comes with is just a bonus.

Nothing better than Mrs. T's potato and cheddar pierogies. It's the best combination ever of cheese, onion, butter, pasta, and potatoes.

Kind of like what straight horse radish does to the head? It makes your forehead burn and your eyes water

What food have you eaten that you dislike the most? For me it's onions. They have absolutely no redeeming qualities. They smell bad, taste nasty and have a really terrible texture. There are foods that taste worse (such as jalapenos) but onions top my list as most disliked. What makes...
