My cat will not play with any cat toy. With or without cat nip. She will play with the little red laser light that comes from my infrared thermometer. She will go crazy running from window to window watching a little opossum wandering around the yard.

The "Cat's Meow" toy is somewhat fragile, my kids have broken two of them. I don't think they had three or four Bengals as test cat's during product development.

This toy is similar and much more robust.

I'm making my own now with Kevlar string cause the kids can kill these in just a hours play. I send one of these along with every kitten I sell

Thanks Steven, I saw those yesterday via our UK Amazon link that Steph put up.

Steph those were some of the toys I was looking at yesterday after picking up your link to the UK Amazon. It was quite funny as well because just after I'd seen them the program came on TV, My Cat From Hell so I watched that and he uses those feather toys.

I don't have a cat but a dog instead... I do wish I had a cat at times! Sometimes a dog is just too much to handle

I don't think either of these need any explanation, save to say that
we now know why cats have nine lives...they need them!!

Both pics are mine, not sourced from the 'net. Smokey is in the micro-wave
while 'Mantha (the Panther) is quite comfy in the fry-pan, thank you.
