My cat, Data, used to either start walking on me, licking my face or got on top of a dresser and pushed stuff off to wake me up.

Our cats knock things off the cupboard but we're usually awake, if we're asleep Sooty tends to walk over you and he weighs a ton, he's a big cat and when he jumps on you, you know it.
