This was Sooty and Lynx when we first got them.
This was a stray that had been around the village for nearly 20 years and came round on a regular basis.
Another of him, we called him either ugly or grandpa.
Pepper adopted us while we still had a couple of lurchers, but he put them in their place, we had him for 7 years before he got killed by a car.
This is Smudge who's just adopted us and has made himself completely at home.
This is the female that comes round just to be fed, we call her barrel because she looks very well fed, she comes to the name as well, she is very talkative
Thanks, Joan!
You are a wonderful caretaker for those cats. Thanks for sharing. :)
I forgot to put names on the pics I presented earlier:
Top pic, Ace.
Second pic, Buddy and Ace, bottom and top, respectively.
Third pic, Velvet and Ace, left and right, respectively.
Fourth pic, Marty and Ace, left and right, respectively.
(I love this thread)

Updated with additional information ...
Sorry about that.
I have a yard-full of bird feeders and my cats roam about the yard freely. However, they are well fed and happy. It's been said that such makes no difference as they still have their natural instincts to kill. Indeed, they peer on with interested eyes but have yet to catch one.
I like birds, too. I enjoy their songs. When the chicks fall from the nest and learn to fly, I take extra precautions.
On a positive note, I have yet to see a roach in my house alive. The cats are, indeed, skillful hunters.
