    ok, let's get back on topic.

    this is my smudge. back in november 2010 he was given 4-6 weeks to live - this shot was taken today in my herb garden. :)

    zooming out, you can see most of my little house.

    why are the bricks there around smudge? that's to stop yesterday's new arrivals from falling over the edge.

    mother duck decided to build a nest under the rosemary bush almost on my door-step. two babies hatched yesterday and i'm trying to keep them in until they've grown a bit and can face the big wide world.
