Couple of months back my right hand dogs head burst open! It had already gone blind and lost it's nose.
I must favour my left when I walk.

Anyway, I got these from Sainsbury's. They're plastic, or "faux leather" as we used to say

Quite comfortable and I fall over a lot less often, J
