    Iwas thinking something heavy, like putting a pig in it strapped down to prepare for a BBQ & rotating it with the crank to bast BBQ sauce all over the pig

    OK, it holds a specially designed container which holds water that you can tilt with the lever and pour as needed.

    Does not hold a container that holds any liquid.

    But yes Ciara, it is used to tighten someting up
