I feel like a stalker.

When the Windows 8 Forums are made do you plan to send the announcement through Email?

We will most likey make a posting at both Vista Forums and here at Seven Forums to announce it instead.

A mass emailing may be mistaken as spam by some ISPs which may then block us.

Not as yet. That would be determined by John (z3r010). I would image that it may be a bit though since Windows 7 has not been released quite yet. I say most likely when Windows 8 (if that will be the name) is about ready for beta testing.

Ahh I see. Hopefully they make W8 public beta/RC's as well.

With the success Microsoft has had beta testing Windows 7, I would image that they will have public beta testing for Windows 8 as well.

Let's get 7 out of the retail boxes first to see how things go for the retail release before MS eventually announces any public availability for testing...?

Who said the nest would actually be named "8" to start with? So far MS hasn't even announced the actual pricing for 7 quite yet. Anyone seen any code names for what is to follow 7 lately?

"stay tuned for scenes from what comes after 7!" I think once there's some confirmation from MS on just what the next version will be called someone will be busy getting the next forum going at that time!

In the meantime we''ll have to see that the Vista and seven forums are placed on the whitelist so they won't be mistaken for any of that.. that aweful stuff!

(spam on ISPs? Just get one of their free email accounts and they will provide that for you! )

cannot get into windows forum via the link
I can post in Windows forum, but cannot view the answers. It gives a list of reasons why, which none of them pertain to me. I have firfox, windows 7 and yahoo. Hopefully a new answer might allow me to get in, I don't know. Thanks

I think that the administrators should create an app for the ANDROID, iPhone, BlackBerry, etc..(for pretty much all the smartphones)..so that we can get help on the go..What do you guys think?
