I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Just over 1 year ago, I had my car stolen. It wasn't as much of a prized possession to me, but still pissed me off something fierce. At the end of the day, I did a ton of paperwork, lost a car and a bunch of personal stuff in it and got $1,000 back from the insurance company for it.
That's terrible Alan
Having your car stolen is bad enough to begin with, but to lose one you have been driving for thirty six years... the sentimental attachment cannot have a price put on that.
Fingers crossed for you that you are one of the lucky ones to have it recovered unharmed.
+1 to getting it back and thanks. It's so much more than about money, it's countless memories and good times even some awkward times........like I said I'm sick and the feelings coming up inside me are painful and I don't like them.
That just plain sucks. Really, there's nothing else to say to something like that. Like smarteyeball said, I hope somehow you get it back.
my sincere commiserations alan - to have had the car and looked after it for so long - the *******s.
best of luck for getting it back - a car like that can't just disappear without a trace...
Sorry for your loss, Alan. That absolutely sucks big time.
As you say, it's not the money, but after 36 years, it's like losing a family member.
Sincerely best wishes for a speedy return of your car.
I'm just not in a good place at the moment, very angry and I tell myself it's only sheet metal but all I can think about is all the memories and plans I had for the car. It makes me sick that it could be in a hundred parts by now.
