Thats when it all started first my soon to be MB was "out of stock" then it was "back ordered"...lol Not to bad right? Thought to myself I'll just order everything else and wait, So I did that.....dun dun dun...What did you say Intel ...what you made the chipsets wrong?? Noooooo... lol So now here I sit waiting for April to come around with all this new equipment just looking me right in the face laughing....

Oh that stinks. It's like getting your favorite toy on Chistmas morning only to find out that batteries are not included, and there none are in the house and all the stores all closed.

Hopefully the time will pass by quickly.

Yeah, that is a huge bummer. Got 3 people at work who all want to proceed with a new computer build, but all have plans on hold as they want a Sandy Bridge setup and have to wait for new motherboards. The performance benefits are worth the wait though.

Could you not get a cheap 1155 mobo, just to get it up and running?
Would not take long to rebuild it later with a Revision 2 board.

I thought about it but once Intel put the info about the MB's out they were all yanked of the market, sure if you already had one you could still use it until the fix but could not go buy one at that time. Plus if I had a cheaper MB to use for the time being I would have to get my main MB (Asus Maximus IV Extreme) later. Then I would have an extra MB here at the house and we all know where that would lead too! I would have to build a 2nd setup then the gf would really kill me...

I know the wait sucks but it will be worth it!! Come on April-ish!!

Didn't realise they had pulled all the mobo's in your country.
In Aus, we can still buy them, though not from every retailer.
Can't blame you for wanting to wait for the Asus M4E.
