Ya definitely should have been 4-2. That one goalie block was like 6ft inside the poles lol.

And ya it was a good game until the end. I'd like to say brazil beat us squarely. Although brazil did have a good team, but really, the USA lost because of Fatigue. They were all out of shape, tired and just could not keep up with Brazil.

if you look at the second half stats, usa:brazil had like a 1:10 goal attacks. They never let up, and we were too tired to be able to stop them.

Could be, yeah, but I think that's where the factor of experience steps in....

The US did well. But despite the 2 goals, Brazil won easily, just moved up a gear and bang 1,2,3,(4). Honestly I don't think the "big" teams had their heart in it - Spain, Italy beaten!
It's a bit of a Mickey Mouse contest but does show the improvements that the U.S., Egypt, even Iraq have made. But think of it: Iraq won't be in the world Cup, Egypt are struggling to get there, New Zealand unlikely to make it through and qualifiers are based on year old results ...

I don't think this is the reason, really not..
