There will even be an SP4 for widows 7...I read the cards!
I would like to see a substantial improvement in Windows' Media Player. Microsoft seems to have abandoned its development. Windows' users who want a decent dvd/blue-ray player on their pc are left to choose from third party softwares like Arcsoft's TMT 5 or Cyberlink's PowerDVD 10 Ultra II. I have the latter and am VERY pleased with it. I don't expect that Microsoft will want to compete with these softwares because of cost considerations but improving upon its Media Player should be one of its considerations in Win8.
i think a virtual drive for mounting would be a great improvement... and native .rar support...
Well, finally the ability to mount an ISO file. My Linux boxes were mounting ISO files back in 1999.
I'm sure "part" of the reason this is coming so late to Windows is that Microsoft would have stepped on plenty of toes of third parties like daemon tools and such which have provided this ISO mounting utility. Just like MSE, I think they often wait to come to the party way late giving the 3rd parties plenty of time to gain their userbase.
