I think I saw her on her website before. Thats makes me think of getting one. I'm not sure if it can help getting into colleges...I only know that it helps getting jobs after finish college.

It should not have an effect on your college, unless you are looking at a technical one, which wouldn't necessarily have the same requirements as a "traditional" college.

I don't think certification can ever replace something like SATs to get into college. I however would never think that a certification could be a bad thing. The more information you get the better. I recently got my MCPD certification, and I recently went to a place called CED Solutions in Georgia. I've been to a few trainings before but the facilities here were pretty awesome. All the caffeine you can drink to keep you awake for those long 10 hour boot camp days. :)

That being said the level of effort they put in to ensuring that everyone got the most out of it that they could. I've been programming for a few years and still got a lot out of the boot camp I took instead of just a certificate.

I guess ultimately my point is that you should inundate yourself with the most information you can.

A Microsoft Certification will not help you get into college. It may be helpful in getting a job down the road however.
