    For only use Ubuntu


    I see a few of people use Ubuntu, but this is right place for me to thread this a question,

    Should i install Ubuntu edition desktop on my old computer window xp?

    how i do erase on Hard drive, then install from Ubuntu, is it should be work?

    You can dual-boot with XP and Ubuntu - or you can simply wipe the Windows XP Partition and put Ubuntu instead.
    There are some great Youtube Videos and Articles in the Internet that explains clearly how to dual-boot.

    I would go with Dual-Booting XP and Ubuntu if I was you. However, there is a catch. Ubuntu cannot be installed on NTFS - but FAT32 can. However, FAT32 cannot go over than 32GB and cannot store more than a 4GB file.

    Check out Linux Mint. It's Ubuntu but easier and more elegant.:)
