Don't forget, Nevada is one of the few places where there are legal brothels

(Well, if you're going to go sightseeing, might as well see it all....)

From Vegas, the Grand Canyon is 277mi or 5 1/2 hr drive. They have a few hotels but my be expensive. You could stay in Willaims or Flagstaff with cheaper hotels. If you decide to go there post back and I can get a list of other things in the Flagstaff area.

Grand Canyon is quite a ride from Las Vegas. I have done that twice. And for the Grand Canyon alone you should plan at least 2 days. No need to go there is you do not go into the valley. Just looking at it from above you can do on pictures.

A friend of mine worked there a couple of times 2 years ago. I shot her provocative modeling pictures that she used for her resume.

Note: Bunny Ranch will cost you BIG TIME. don't bother unless you got a couple grand atleast in your wallet...

There is an relatively short drive north of Las Vegas that's nice: Red Rock Canyon Interpretive Association
Also the Dam as mentioned is a relatively short trip.

Death valley, Grand canyon are get up realy early and plan on driving most of the day trips. Though there is another one that is also a REALLY great day trip. Just a few hours drive each way. Welcome to Zion National Park & Springdale, UT

Like the grand canyon, pictures cant do the park justice. It is truly awsome. If you go on a weekend, be sure to arive there early, near opening for easy parking.

This time of year is the best time to visit Death Valley. The Spring Flowers should be in bloom and it isn't so hot that you can't be outside during the day.
