Today I downloaded and installed W8 Build 7989. I also purchased a 1TB HDD to install for my multi-boot system. I was going to get a 500GB drive, but this one was only £15 more, costing me just under £60. Incidentally, the first HDD that I bought to upgrade my first PC (which only had a 4GB drive) was a 20GB model, setting me back by just short of £100. That was 10 years ago. The equivalent cost of a 1TB drive back then (had they existed) would have been £5,000.
That's a nice deal mate. How's Windows 8 treating you?
So far, so good. I've been trying a few free AVs to see which do/don't work. Currently, I'm using PCTools, but would be far happier if Avast! worked (unfortunately, it doesn't).

I've also managed to activate, but haven't unlocked any of the disabled features yet.

As regards drivers, I've found that W7 drivers work (at least, in my case, although it could depend on your hardware).
There's a new Red Pill that came out today, suppose to be a new one by tomorrow.

Today I took the Red Pill on my fairly new Win8 7989 x64 VB install

#1 girls have always looked at the guy with a cool car, I'm sure this is true everywhere. When you are young you generally aren't looking for a life mate, but rather having some fun. The superficial only lasts a while, it will never endure.

#2 You are thinking too much :) Have a date, have some fun, hell have 3 or 4 dates, have some fun. If you don't find something to hold your interest, you'll move on...but you will have had some fun. It's easy for me to advise from afar, but just generally, you are deciding she isn't for you, and you've never spent any time together. Just my 2 céntimos

    Thanks!
Yes, I need it for the apps and podcasts for my iPod Touch. It's very rare that I use it for anything but loading the Touch, or playing a podcast....today I was experimenting with the visualizer, as you can see.
