Not looking for sympathy or recognition but my wife was diagnosed with MS over 30 years ago. Neither one of us knew what MS was or how it would effect our lives.
To make a long story short the last 10 years have been very difficult for her and myself. She is bedridden and no control of her bowels or bladder. It has become a 24/7 challenge.
Like Lee and Angie we could have packed our bags and left. We chose to stay with our loved ones, soul mates, to make sure they got the best care one could give. The three of us and others all know that our spouses would do the same for us if the tables were turned. No questions asked.

The bottom line is we cannot change what happened yesterday nor predict what tomorrow will bring.
We cherish each and every moment with our loved ones and the thought of quitting or walking away has never entered our thoughts. It is the cards that we were dealt and we are going to play this hand out.

That is well said. My kudos to you, Lee and others taking care of their loved ones. This of course also includes my Angie, taking care of her ailing mother and me.

Dennis very well put my hats off to you and Lee and Angie I know some of you may know the condition I am in. Please No Sympathy for Me Either. I'm on the other end 12 years ago I was in a motorcycle wreck broke my neck and I am a quadriplegic and my wife takes care of me and working a full-time job. I can move my arms and wrists but no fingers movement otherwise from my chest on down I am paralyzed with no feeling so as Dennis put it I have no bowel and bladder control thank god for plastic I pee & poo in bags .
I know my wife must really love me to do what she has to go through.

Mighty proud of you Jerry. "Quitting is not an option!"
My hat is off to your wife and her care for you. I really don't call myself a care giver. I call it unconditional LOVE!

If you need anything you just ask and I will find a way to get it to you.

Julian, Dont forget Jerry's graphical works and all the themes made by him

I also have witnessed a terrible motorcycle accident a few years ago .... the rider was my girlfriend . After about eight weeks passing in the hospital and next six weeks in bed, she healed completely .
