Today I found out one of the most popular poker sites has been seized by the FBI for illegal gambling and fixing WARNING
Yeah, I heard on news that because online gambling is forbidden in USA since 2006, the feds closed a few of the biggest gaming sites located in USA. More than 10 people are charged and either arrested or searched with international warrants for arrest (a few Canadians, rest Americans), domains closed, accounts of these sites and companies closed and money confiscated, and so on. One new member is already searching help to continue to earn his living by playing online poker, asking us if he could wor around this issue with proxy: https://www.sevenforums.com/network-s...ugh-proxy.html

Seems to be big news. Sorry if I heart someone's feelings now but I would love to see this kind of action in Europe, too. There's simply nothing good in gambling.

Kari,
I have worked to hard for what little money I have so I am not about to play on line poker or gamble it away.
I live about 3 miles from a huge Indian Casino and have only visited it twice when my brother came to town. Have known Nurses who love to go there and lose their paycheck before leaving.
Thanks but no Thanks. Life is the only gamble I am involved in.

Yeah, years ago I remember the poker sites moving offshore. But now the allegations are of wrongdoing. A Guy
Seems I have to clarify my previous post a bit. I think my English made a trick once more, so you understood my post wrong, Dennis. I'm sorry my English syntax sometimes causes my words to be understood completely opposite as I have meant to say.
I said, and meant it, that there's nothing good in gambling, and that's why I would welcome the same action ( = closing the gambling sites) taken here in Europe.
It was meant to be against gambling, not pro. I would like authorities to close online gambling sites here in Europe, too. I was not welcoming casinos to Europe.

Kari, I got what you were saying exactly. And suspect Dennis did as well. No worries, your english is just fine. I wouldn't know english wasn't your native language. A Guy
Kari..............
No problem. I understood what you meant and meant what you understood...hehehehe
Definitely no hard feelings on this side of the pond. We are goooooood!
Thanks, geeks. We had dinner guests earlier tonight, and I have to admit I had some wine, schnapps and whisky, which automatically always means I make things just more confusing trying to explain them with too many words.
I know I'm not perfect even when sober, but after a few glasses I'm nearing an idiot. By the way, IMO the best joke of Angie's: "Kari, you are not perfect but it's OK. It would be a really difficult situation if we had two perfect persons in this relationship."
Or does she mean that to be taken as a joke...

I am betting on the pirates off the coast of Africa.
Little tiny boats taking on huge cruise liner's would like Topper running faster than Doc's Delorean (sp)!
