    Storms in NW Arkansas

Not a great Easter Sunday. Tornado warnings issued for the counties immediately West of here, projected to move through in about an hour (7pm Central time).

Northwest Arkansas Weather, Fort Smith Weather - KFSM

Of course, the local media is in their standard Panic Mode.

One of my long distance friends is doing a tour of sun tan salons in that area. Haven't heard from her in a couple of hours, she probably went for shelter somewhere safe.

It didn't get nearly as bad here as the media would lead you to believe. A bit of wind, heavy rain and some lightning.

I still don't get all the scaremongering...

Good, it seems so. She's back to her usual photo posting (so, safe and sound.)

Fear sells, massively, just look at the amount of grotesque horror movies floating around
