REMEMBER: Cell Phone Numbers went Public last month March 1st.
REMINDER..... All cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sales calls.

All I can say is it came in an email from my Sister-in-law, It might have something to do with this: Over 2.4 Million Cell Phone Numbers Made Public in First Phase of New Phone Directory - Press Release

I stand corrected, and will make a clarification.
That is the problem with the Internet. Lots of phony e-mails and people just believe them and forward to their friends. snopes.com: Urban Legends Reference Pages is a good source to check them out.

afaik, they eventually talk you into installing teamviewer or similar, then once they're in control of your pc, who knows what they install onto it?

off topic: hey that's interesting - i typed 'a-f-a-i-k' (without the hyphens), but the forum spat out 'As far as I know,' - when i go to edit my post, i can still see my original a-faik.

I see, guess I will wait to see if I get this call and confuse them by saying I have no orb or start bar because I run Linux. should be a good time :)
