I suffer from two things: living and working in two places 500 km apart, and living abroad.

Not counting short local trips, in an average month I make three round trips between homes = 3,000 km per month and two trips to southern Germany and Switzerland to keep in touch with customers = 3,000 km per month. One day every week I work in Berlin = 1,200 km a month. This every month. Two yearly car holiday round trips to Finland to see my folks and friends = 6,000 km a year. Add normal daily trips and that's it.

We both love to drive (fast!) and we like to make our European holiday trips with car. European highway / motorway system is super; you move fast but you are never far away from sights and places worth to see. A good example is these trips to Finland. We could fly in a bit over two hours. But we do it rather in our way; day and a half to drive via Denmark and Sweden to Stockholm, then a 16 hour ferry to Helsinki, Finland through the most beautiful archipelago in the world (subjective opinion!).

We, my wife and I, we just love driving

Lovely,

Miss that continental lifestyle...

FYI:
US 'Interstate' highways were copied from the Autobahn,
but we're not allowed to actually 'drive'...

But then, we have General Motors, Ford, etc.
You guys got Mercedes, Porsches, Volksies, etc, Autobahn "qualified"...

You runnin' XP or Win 7 on that?

You might want to consider a 'wireless' mouse - very "In" these days...

CGA?
Here's my first home computer, better graphics than CGA:
Dual processors, S-100, 384 K, 8087, and other goodies.
Keyboard like butter, 'built like a tank': (Low-profile Z-110)
Z-100 (computer) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Check out that documentation, 14 vols, made me feel like a professional.
Sweet and easy 'programming' on this honey:
DigiBarn Systems: Zenith Z-100 Original Desktop Computer

Standard US Air Force desktop, etc.
