an update.. im sitting here with my flat head screw driver literrally DIGGING at chunks of what i thought were dust on the heatsink...

The compressed air couldn't take it out.. it's so damn hard.. its like.. frozen dust.. HAHHA

Are you using all these 3 OS's on the same inspiron 1300 or different PCs?

If different ones, try Vista on the inspiron 1300 and tell me the results.

I bet you gonna hear more then one *POP*
