Hah, I am not the most stupid man ever lived, that was proven a couple of hours ago when meeting a neighbour at the pub. I can be the second most stupid but not even close SO stupid!

His wife had today the 45th birthday. And what did he buy to his wife? A controversial book called (free translated) "An Obedient Wife; Key to the Happy Marriage"!

Made her not so happy, she took the car and went somewhere and now my neighbor is panicking, drinking vodka shots in the pub wondering should he start calling her friends and relatives.

Makes my stupidity look almost intelligent.

Flashed my RAID controller BIOS. Lost the RAID5 volume for a while.

    Never panic.

Woke up about noon, afternoon in a typical German "Biergarten", a garden-like open air restaurant with mates. Eating good, having a couple of beers together.

A bit shopping, bought a new UPS. Now alone at a café terrace in the city center reading a book and occasionally checking SF from my Nokia.

    Life is good.

I have a close friend there in the other half of "The Twin City", in Ludwigshafen. Through him I've learned there's a lot of U.S. Army and U.S.A.F. folks on that region, hence my question.

    Sprichts du Deutsch noch?

Either you have to speak more clearly, enunciating properly,

or you friend needs a hearing aid. OOoopps: Audio-assist device....

(At least you had a 'clean' registry for a while... Sorry, couldn't resist.)
