Money doth covereth a multitude of excess... in other words, without all that money to spend on facelifts he'd probably look like this....

well, i just had a misadventure. i was reading through the forum, when the strangest scent caught my attention. it was like a wet dog, that was also on fire (if that makes any sense, please call your local mental health facility). "wtf is that?!" i asked myself. so i wandered down the stairs, choking almost to the point of vomitting. then i noticed the strangest grey fog through out the house. "oh s***, it's burning down!" i exclaimed. i made my way to the kitchen, to find a pan with what seemed to be melted brain matter, causing all those distasteful scents and such. it was (at one point) hamburgers, burnt to a leathery crisp. then i pondered.... the damn house could have burning down, and nobody noticed?! then i saw the "chef" outside tending to feral stray cats. and discovered my underling sister clacking away at the keyboard in the den. "you dont smell that!?" i asked in a fit. "smell what?" she says back. "you dont see that?!" i rebutted, pointing to the thick gray smoke though out the house. "see what?!" she replied. "what the hell is wrong with you?!" i asked.
what happened: my step'ma was cooking, got distracted by furry woodland creatures (for like half an hour?!) and my kid sibling, was to oblivious to the world beyond youtube, to notice the entire house engulfed in smoke. and on top of all that i learned my dad had removed the batteries from the smoke detector due it "always beeping".

sometimes i wonder.... it could have been a lot worse. would they just laugh it off, then? idiots.

That was close, man! And what did you learn about this? Reading SevenForums keeps you and your mind alert and gives good reflexes.

Seriously, I got goose bumps reading this. Happy you and your family lived to tell the story, house still there.

    Get the battery!
