Very impressed, is that an antistatic mat under the motherboard in the second picture, and if it is well done, you would be surprised how many people just put their
highly priced boards /cards/ memory straight onto the bed or the carpet,
definitely a no no for me, anyway keep up the good work.
    Thanks.
Yup, antistatic mat. Sometimes I even use an antistatic strap/thingy with the alligator clip. "Sometimes" is the operative word, 'cuz it's that one time you reach into a case for something without a strap that mother nature decides to send dry air your way and pour on the static electricity.

I think for the bedroom or kitchen, you'd want one even smaller. Maybe something with the same Zotac ION board, but with an onboard DC-DC power supply so you can use a tiny miniITX case without a power supply.
    Maybe something like this:

    Attachment 29219Attachment 29220
    Attachment 29222Attachment 29221

Just finishing up on this one, too. It streams 1080p from my Home Server @ around 13% CPU usage (not overclocked). Now all I need is a 1080p Television.....:)
Is it just me, or does that have 4 CPU's or look like it has 4 CPU's?

You mean the big heat sink? The ION heats up more than the Atom processor so they use a big heat sink over everything. That way, you can run it fanless.

LOOK OUT FLORIDA! HERE I might be moving the next month... havent 100% decided yet. i mean its the wang of america (N/O flordinites). an old friend asked me if i wanted to split the rent with em. i figured, why not? beats NY's frozen winter tundra, cows being my only neighbors, and what not. looks like a win. but then again, looks can be deceiving..

It is going to sink anyday now...

the move might be an investment that ends up "sinking" in the end...
