LOOK OUT FLORIDA! HERE I might be moving the next month... havent 100% decided yet. i mean its the wang of america (N/O flordinites). an old friend asked me if i wanted to split the rent with em. i figured, why not? beats NY's frozen winter tundra, cows being my only neighbors, and what not. looks like a win. but then again, looks can be deceiving..

There are some real country/hick parts of Florida too, the only up-side is it doesn't (usually) snow in most of them and you very well could end up with a cow for a neighbor.

i've been in that neck of the woods. cant complain. one thing i always liked about NC is the people, are usually nice. that and hush-puppies, i friggin love those things. for those who have never heard of those, they're like little chunks of fried cornbread. pure delicious awesomeness...

Indeed...most restaurants in Marion serve those religiously...

I find that I don't really like them that much....

As for nice/rude people Asheville, Spruce Pine, and Morganton are normally the places where you might meet with hostility. Asheville has hostile traffic (very hostile), Spruce Pine has hostile Wal-Mart shoppers, and Morganton has hostile street goers (for the most part....)

Around Christmas last year I was buying something at Super Wal-Mart in Spruce Pine (a Guitar Hero IV + Guitar bundle) and it was the last one. I went to grab it when a sweet-looking (I stress the looking part) Grandma shoved me with a shopping cart to get it. I let it go and followed her around a bit. She sat it down near a shelf to grab something (I can't remember) and I grabbed it without her noticing.

She hadn't paid for it yet so fair game...

    I see...

I normally don't go to Wal-Mart period..I hate the place

My Mom has some war stories about Christmas shopping at Wal-Mart in Spruce Pine. She wears knee and shoulder pads when she does holiday shopping up there because it gets so bad...

Yeah. Granny told us about you. No worries, Junior got a Barbie doll.

Not that's there's anything wrong with that.
