Got rid of Peter Norton....
Real Norton sw saved my ass more than once...
Esp. the NT install, when it said:
That's when I knew I was in real trouble.Win has detected that OS/2 is installed on this computer.
Win is temporarily disabling the OS/2 Boot Manager during the installation process...
Started the 'disinfection' with Linux boot floppy -- Slackware v.2.3
Took 3 evenings to get back to normal...
Betcha ten bucks the Zenith EISA-486 will boot, after 10 yrs in the cellar...

Heh-heh....On the other hand, when it became clear to IBM that Micro Channel was dying, IBM actually licensed EISA for use in a few server systems. As a final jab at their competitor, Compaq (leader of the EISA consortium) didn't cash the first check sent by IBM for the EISA license. Instead, the check was framed and put on display in the company museum at Compaq's main campus in Houston, Texas.
