Surely face to face webcam chat is the technology nobody wants. Everyone I know has a webcam and none of them use them for chatting to friends, relatives etc.

Also, I went to a car boot sale the other day and nearly every stall had some kind of exercise machine and a breadmaker machine.

Compelely agree on the webcam John, the second one's got me a bit (lot) puzzled, what's a car boot John (I think I'm asking for it)

a 'car boot' is short for a 'car boot sale'.

basically it's a load of cars in a field somewhere, with people selling second-hand goods out of the back of their cars.

oh a car boot is a 'trunk', i believe you call it, or is it a 'hood'? - the back one anyways, where the engine isn't...

=========================================

ps - if you want to quote multiple people, first click on the 'multi' button for the first, second etc quotable person, then click the 'quote' button for the last.

Thank You for the info mickey, I was wondering how to do that multi-quote thing. It is the trunk here in the backwoods of America, where, as well, a car boot is something completely different. It is what the police put on your auto tire if you've been parked too long in a non-parking area. It's so you can't move the car until it is towed. And as far as your dogbegone,

Product key giving product is upgrade not clean install on activation
I picked up this lenovo laptop and shortly after I got it the HDD went out. I replaced the HDD and Installed a full version of Windows XP SP2 then used the Win 7 upgrade disc I bought. I did a clean install of the Win 7 then I activated it at that time without any issues. Some time after that I...

Ghost caught on film
This is a car advertisement from Great Britain. When they finished filming the ad, the film editor noticed something moving along the side of the car, like a ghostly white mist. They found out that a person had been killed a year earlier in that exact same spot. The ad was never put on TV because...

Product Key Does Not Match Current Windows SKU (Foreign product key?)
So short story, I work at a college tech site that fixes student and faculty computers. A foreign exchange student from Japan with a Sony Vaio (most likely from Japan as well) managed to get a virus on his computer and he was blocked off our network. Our policy is that we wipe and reinstall the OS...

I caught the Neuroquila virus
Norton alerted me of this bugger whilst I was browsing the forum. Norton has quarantined it. But I wonder whether anybody ever saw this bugger and whether it could have further consequences. It seems to originate from my home country Germany - which does not make it more likeable.
